Dates & tamarind chutney is a sweet and tangy side dish that goes perfectly with Indian meals.
Keep the dates soaked in water that covers all the dates. Keep it soaked for about 2-3 hours.
Now, de-seed the dates and put them in a blender. Blend them until smooth. Keep adding water to get the right consistency.
Add ginger powder, tamarind pulp, chilli powder and salt. Now, boil it.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Your chutney is now ready to be served.
