Raita is an essential part of an Indian meal. However, we usually serve boondi raita or plain raita but all this is super boring. So, if you want an interesting change in your menu, try this easy and quick recipe of cucumber raita.
- Whisk the curd well and add green chilli paste, cumin seeds powder, sugar and salt. Add the cucumber and mix well.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Now, heat some oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds and asafoetida. Saute for 30minutes.
- Pour the tempering to the curd.
- Serve the cucumber raita chilled.
