Ingredients For Quinoa Kofta

  • Cooked Quinoa, 2 cups
  • Cauliflower florets, 2 Cups
  • All purpose flour, 3 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder, 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala, 1 tsp
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil to deep Fry

  1. To clean cauliflower florets, soak them in hot salted water for 10 minutes. Then, rinse them under running water to remove any impurities. Finally, use a clean cotton cloth to gently pat them dry and remove excess water.
  2. In a blender, grind Cauliflower florets coarsely.
  3. Mix together the coarsely ground cauliflower, quinoa, all-purpose flour, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt with your hands until everything is well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small kofta balls, making sure they're tiny so they can get crispy on the outside when fried.
  5. Take a deep bottommed flat pan and heat oil.
  6. When the oil is hot, carefully add the koftas and let them cook for a few minutes until they're golden brown. Flip them over to cook evenly on all sides.
  7. Serve them hot with spicy tangy chutney or sauce.
