4 Festival Cocktail Recipes For Christmas 2024
1. Santa’s Secret Sazerac
Ingredients: ice cubes, one teaspoon of sugar syrup, three dashes of Angostura bitters, 20 millilitres of whiskey, one teaspoon of anise, and a lemon peel strip.
To make this timeless classic with a festive twist, you have to fill a tumbler with ice cubes to chill the glass. Mix sugar syrup, Angostura bitters, and your favourite whiskey in another mixing glass, and stir to blend properly. “Discard the ice from the chilled glass and swirl the anise inside to coat it with flavour. Pour out any excess anise. Strain the whisky mixture into the prepared glass. Rub the strip of lemon peel along the rim of the glass, then drop it in as a garnish. Serve and enjoy the festive warmth of this sophisticated holiday cocktail!”
2. Winter Wonderland Whiskey
Ingredients: one part whiskey, four parts good quality ginger ale, and one lime wedge.
Make the craziest Winter Wonderland Whiskey by filling a glass with ice cubes, pouring your favourite whiskey over the ice, and topping it up with ginger ale. To combine the ingredients, stir a bit. Then, squeeze a lime wedge over the drink and drop it into the glass as a garnish. Sip and enjoy the crisp, refreshing taste!
3. Winter Orchard Delight
Ingredients: 1/2 sliced green apple, 1/2 sliced red apple, 1/2 sliced lemon, two cinnamon sticks, and 60 millilitres of vodka.
Add green apple slices, red apple slices, lemon slices, and cinnamon sticks to a large jar. Add your favourite vodka, close the jar, and gently shake it. Then, refrigerate the mixture for at least 24 hours (or up to 3 days) to let the flavours infuse perfectly. Serve chilled!

4. Twisted Whiskey Sour
Ingredients: 45 millilitres of whiskey, 30 millilitres of orange juice, 20 millilitres of lime juice, 15 millilitres of sugar syrup, 2-3 drops of Aromatic Bitters, and ice cubes.
If you are a fan of classic old Whiskey Sour, Pallav shared a recipe to give it a festive twist. He shared, “Fill a mixing tin 3/4th full of ice cubes. Add whiskey, lime juice, sugar syrup, orange juice, and bitters. Shake well until chilled. Strain into a glass filled with ice and garnish with a slice of orange or cherry.”
