Indian food revolves around the usage of spices and its taste is mostly derived from the oil used. However, that oil is not good for your health. It leads to several heart diseases and weight gain. With the awareness about health, people are now shifting towards healthy eating habits and thus they want to avoid consumption of oil. Here we have listed five kitchen hacks that you can implement to balance excessive oil in your food.
Use Bread
Bread is an excellent element to use if you want to reduce excess oil. Here is how you can use it. While your food is still frying, dry roast a slice of bread. Once the food is fried, place it on the slice of the bread. The bread will absorb the excess fat and oil from the food.
Boiled Potatoes
Boil the potatoes cut them into big cube slices and roast them. Then keep them in the vegetable and cook the dish without covering it for five minutes. Now take out the potatoes after the stipulated time. This will reduce the oil from the food.
Add Tomato Puree
If there is too much oil in the vegetable, then first remove it from the upper layer using the spoon. Then cook the tomato puree for a minute and mix it with the vegetables. This will allow you to make vegetables with less oil.

Mix Corn Flour
Mix the water and corn flour properly and cook it for two minutes. Then mix them in the vegetables. The excess oil (benefits of grapeseed oil) in the vegetable will decrease on its own and taste will also improve.
Use Besan
The other way to reduce oil (containers to store cooking oil) from the vegetables is to use besan. Dry roast some besan and mix it with the vegetables. The extra oil in the vegetable will be reduced and the taste of the vegetable oil will be enhanced to some extent.
