Rich, dark, gooey chocolate cookies are everyone’s guilty pleasure. Some of the toughest health freaks also at times go weak when standing in front of a chocolate cookie jar. We are sure while growing up, many of you might have sneaked in your kitchen to grab a cookie or two when no one’s watching. And many might have tried their hands on at preparing these cookies too.
Well, those were the days when you had time for getting hands dirty and learning something new. But with the busy schedule that we all have, we miss out on some of the simplest joys of life, a classic chocolate cookie being one of them.
So, fret not. For all those busy souls out there, here is a quick and easy recipe for classic chocolate cookies.

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoonsof butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
- ½ cup of cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- Take a large bowl and mix butter and sugar
- Now add eggs and vanilla extract, whip well, ensuring that a fluffy mixture is prepared
- Now combine, flour, cocoa, a pinch of salt to the mixture
- Mix chocolate chips as well
- Heat your oven to 175 C
- In a greasing pan, scoop out the mixture, roughly in the form of cookies
- Bake for 10-15 mins, ensure that the cookies don’t burn
- Serve them with rich fresh whipped cream or hot chocolate
