DIY ‘Kanda Bhajia’ Recipe To Try At Home:

  • First, slice the onion in a thin manner and add them in a bowl to mix.
  • Next, add salt to the onions and put them aside to rest.
  • Now add ‘besan’ or gram flour to the onions.
  • Follow it up with adding coriander seeds, green chillies and walnuts.
  • Next, mix all of the ingredients in the gram flour to make a mix with an even consistency.
  • Now heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  • Make little fritters or ‘bhajia’ balls and deep fry them on a medium flame.
  • Fry them until golden brown and crisp.
  • Take the bhajia out and place it on tissue paper to absorb the oil.
  • Finally, serve them hot and crispy with a side of coriander chutney.
