There is something about spicy, hot and succulent dim sums that gets us all the time. A variety of veggies, bundled up in a pack and served with hot sauce which can tickle your taste buds, that’s how we would sum up a serving of dim sums.
Know by a variety of names throughout the world dim sums have graduated from being a staple Cantonese street food to becoming a delicacy. Owing to a number of versions available out there, there is nodearth of options.
Dim Sum traces it’s history to China. Experts say that this recipe originated almost 2500 years ago in the North of China and was specifically served to the Royals. Eventually, it was being served in the tea houses as a snack and became a part of the tradition called "yum cha" or drinking tea

Ingredients
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 tbsp of black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp of chili flakes
- 150 gm of cabbage (chopped)
- 150 gm of button mushrooms (minutely chopped)
- 1/2 an onion, chopped
- 50 grams of corn cobs
- 50 grams of carrots ( chopped)
- 50 capsicum ( chopped)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic-chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
- 1teaspoon vinegar
- A bunch of coriander leaves

- Knead the flour and salt using water
- Once the dough is ready, divide it into small portions for dumplings
- In a pan fry all veggies together to prepare the stuffing
- Add a bunch of coriander leaves
- Now fill each dumpling neatly
- Once you have enough dumplings ready steam them in small batches
- Serve them fresh and warm with any kind of sauce you want
