But instead of ordering outside, preparing a home-made apple pie is a much healthier alternative. All you need to do is invest 10 minutes of your time and bake the easiest apple pie recipe in town. This recipe is by the celebrity chef, Anahita Dhondy, who shared it on Instagram recently.

Preparation
Ingredients:
- 2 apples chopped
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 tsp of butter
- 3 tsp of jaggery
- 2 tsp of brown sugar
- 5 bread slices
- A few drops of milk
Method:
- Peel and cut the apple into medium pieces. In a pan, add some butter. After the butter melts completely, fry the apple slices in it till they turn golden brown. Then add the cinnamon, jaggery and brown sugar. Till all the juices are released, cook it properly and see the filling thicken.
- With the edges of a slice of bread removed, roll it out as thin as possible. Add the apple filling. Seal the edges with milk and fold it. Take the other bread slices and repeat the process.
- Spread the butter on the bed and put it in the air fryer set at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
- After it is cooked, enjoy the apple pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or cream to elevate the taste.
