Following the buzz around the re-release of 'Laila Majnu,' it's now time for another classic film, 'Veer-Zaara,' to make its return. With a dedicated fan base, especially among Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta fans, the film is still a cherished favourite. Even though many have seen it before, fans are excited to watch it again on the big screen. 'Veer-Zaara' will be back in theatres starting September 13, 2024. In addition to 'Veer-Zaara,' other films like 'Taal,' 'Pardes,' and 'Tumbbad' will also be hitting the big screen.

The film will be screened at select times each day, with the number of showings potentially increasing depending on demand, as per Pinkvilla. While there hasn’t been any official announcement about ticket prices, the cost for 'Veer-Zaara' is expected to be similar to other re-releases, starting around Rs 149.

Other Re-Releases Of September

According to Pinkvilla, the release date for 'Pardes' is tentatively set for either September 20, 2024, or September 27, 2024, with an official announcement expected soon. Starring Mahima Chaudhry and Apurva Agnihotri, 'Pardes' is a celebrated musical drama directed by Subhash Ghai. Another film by Ghai, 'Taal' (1999), featuring Akshaye Khanna, Anil Kapoor, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, will also return to theatres on September 20, 2024. Additionally, fans might get another chance to see Madhuri Dixit perform her famous 'Ek Do Teen' number, as Zee Studios is considering a re-release of 'Tezaab' later in the month.

‘Tumbbad’ which was earlier scheduled to re-release on August 30, 2024, has now been pushed to September 13, 2024. All of these re-releases are timed to coincide with the Ganpati celebrations to attract the highest possible number of viewers. This strategy has proven effective, as evidenced by ‘Laila Majnu’ exceeding its original box office earnings.
