Hollywood pop icon Taylor Swift just released her ‘The Eras Tour Concert’ film in India, on Friday November 3, 2023. The concert film was previously released in the United States of America in October 2023. What’s more, as expected the film has turned out to be the highest grosser in the US market as it has grossed over $90 million over its very first weekend. Since then it has moved from strength to strength and crossed the $150 million mark and moved ahead to $200 million worldwide.
Landslide Advance Bookings For The Taylor Swift ‘The Eras Tour Concert’ Film In India:
‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ has finally released in India and has reached the zenith of fandom as is evident in the advance bookings. Around 25000 tickets have been sold in top national chains for the opening day; whereas, a whopping 85000 tickets have been sold for the opening weekend.
For a concert film, these are staggering record numbers in the country. The opening weekend estimates for ‘The Eras Tour Concert’ range from ₹ 5 to 6 crores gross which is around $ 600 thousand. This is a display of sheer fan following and fandom for the pop star.

With the release of the film in India this Friday, it is reported that the film can be a threat for major releases that are currently showcasing in theatres. Even with new releases such as 'The LadyKiller' and 'Aankh Micholi,' coming up Taylor Swift’s concert film will not be facing any immediate threats.
