After a series of films failing at the box office, ‘Stree 2’ is on the verge of emerging as an instant hit. Releasing on August 14, 2024, the horror comedy movie stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. The second instalment in the Stree universe has kept the audience psyched wondering what is going to follow as another mystical figure is terrorising the village, a headless monster called Sarkata.

Followed by the massive success of ‘Stree’, the second instalment to the franchise ‘Stree 2’ is all set to hit the theatres on August 14, 2024. The movie’s creators opened the advance bookings on Saturday, August 10, 2024, with over 45000 tickets already sold by August 11, as per a Tweet by Sumit Kadel. He Tweeted on Monday morning announcing, “#Stree2 is flexing its muscle like a SOLO RELEASE -𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐝 1.20 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐡 𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐈𝐂 𝐢𝐧𝐜 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐨𝐰.

He had previously predicted a collection of “HUMONGOUS ₹30-35 crore nett opening on 15th August.” The movie has collected over ₹4.09 crore so far, according to a Sacnilk report.

These advancements in the ‘Stree 2’ advance booking come despite its clash with other movies at the box office including Sharvari and John Abraham’s ‘Vedaa’, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein’, and Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt’s Tamil movie ‘Double iSmart’.
