The highly anticipated action comedy Singham Again is nearing its release date and fans are going into the frenzy already. The third instalment of the Singham franchise is set to hit the big screen this Diwali. As per the reports, director Rohit Shetty is shooting a grand climax for the movie which will be a cherry on top for the viewers. According to a Mid-day report, filmmaker Rohit is working on post-production scenes, involving a play set-up and characters dressed as demons.

Shetty is reportedly shooting the climax scenes of Singham Again at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle. “It involves a grand play-like scene and has many characters dressed as rakshasas (demons), thus adding a folklore-based twist to the proceedings,” according to a Mid-day source.
According to reports, a crowd of 500 gathered on the first day of shooting at the Vile Parle Set. “The team has set up a large stage, where Rohit will film an elaborate performance that forms the centrepiece of the climax. In the next few days, Ajay (who plays Bajirao Singham) is expected to join the shoot. The scene needs a huge crowd. So, the production team included the people gathered in the scene. Filming is expected to continue until September 11,” the source added.

Singham Again is the fifth instalment of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe and a sequel to 2014 Singham Returns. The action movie stars Ajay Devgn alongside Akshay Kumar (who previously acted in Rohit’s 2021 film Sooryavanshi), Ranveer Singh (who gave a power-packed performance in 2018 Simmba), Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Other actors including Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Siddhartha Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana also feature in the movie.

The earlier announcement of Singham Again was made in September 2017 under the working title Singam 3, and the official title was announced in December 2022. Singham Again is scheduled to release on the silver screen on Diwali 2024.
