While the 2016 audience rejected the movie, leading to poor box office collections, the 2025 audience is now embracing the movie with open arms. In the past few months, several Bollywood movies have been re-released in the theatres, including Sanam Teri Kasam. However, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane’s romantic drama has taken the internet by storm with its incredible box office collection in the first few days. The 2025 audiences can’t get enough of the amazing chemistry between Harshvardhan and Mawra, and the increasing box office collection is proof that the audiences continue to flock to theatres, despite the movie being available on Youtube. According to the industry tracker website Sacnilk, the movie crossed the Rs 20 crore mark within five days.

As per Sacnilk, on its opening weekend, the movie grossed around Rs 15.50 crore. After a grand opening, the movie continues to be a fan favourite and had significant earnings of approximately Rs 3.25 crore net on Monday. The collection dropped on Tuesday, standing at Rs 3 crore. With this, the total re-release collection of the romantic drama sums up to be around Rs 22.09 crore net in 5 days. It is expected that the movie will collect Rs 28-30 crores net in the coming week.
