Karan Johar Unveils The First Look Poster Of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' On His Birthday

Filmmaker Karan Johar has dropped the first look posters of his upcoming rom-com, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. The film was originally slated to be released on February 10, 2023, but has now been pushed to July 28, 2023. This Thursday, the fans got a glimpse of the new looks of both the lead actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in full character in the movie along with their respective ‘parivaars’.

Karan Johar took to Instagram to share the posters of the much-awaited Dharma movie. While introducing Ranveer he wrote, “An absolute ‘heartthrob’, who wears his own heart on his sleeve - meet Rocky!🤟🏻”

Ranveer Singh who essays the role of Rocky is a very loud and out-there character with a bare-chested bronzed look with his hair flying in the air. His wardrobe goes with his character’s persona who is seen wearing large gold chains, tinted sunglasses and an animal print shirt.

Introducing Alia’s character Rani he wrote, “Ladies & gentlemen, the queen is here to steal your hearts - meet Rani! 💕”

Rani comes across as a desi prim and proper girl by the looks of the posters that show her draped in sarees and posing conservatively.

While introducing the ensemble cast of the movie that includes stalwarts such as Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi Karan wrote, “Meet the Randhawas & the Chatterjees - the two families of this 'kahaani'!♥️♥️♥ The power of family will decide the fate of love.
