Popular South Korean actors Jung Hae-in and Koo Kyo-hwan are back as the much-loved duo of An Jun-ho and Han Ho-yeol, they will continue to do their tasks as members of the D.P. unit (Deserter Pursuit) while having to deal with the craziness and constant reality of the military culture. A dramatic end to the first season raised more concerns about how the story will go ahead. D.P. is based on Kim Bo-tong's webtoon ‘D.P. Dog's Day’.

Jung Hae-in will be again seen in the role of Ahn Jun-ho in ‘D.P. 2’. We will see him returning in a deep-rooted full-of-action role. He made his acting debut with the Korean drama ‘Bride of the Century’ released in 2014. Some of his best works are ‘Something in the Rain’, ‘A Piece of Your Mind’, ‘Connect’ and ‘Snowdrop’.

Koo Kyo-hwan is also returning as Ho-yeol in ‘D.P. 2’, a subordinate with Jun-ho. Koo Kyo-hwan was born on December 14, 1982. He made his acting debut with ‘Castaway on the Moon’ released in 2009. He is best known for his roles in Korean dramas like ‘Monstrous’, ‘Jane’, ‘Escape from Mogadishu’ and ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’.
Kim Sung-kyun
Kim Sung-kyun will be seen as Beom-gu in ‘D.P. 2’. He made his acting debut as a gangster boss's faithful henchman in the Korean movie ‘Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time’ that was released in 2012. Some of the must-watch Korean dramas are ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’, ‘Reply 1994’, ‘Hospital Playlist’ and ‘Weak Hero Class 1’.
Son Suk-ku

Son Suk-ku will play the role of Ji-seop. He began his acting career with the Korean movie ‘Scarlet Innocence’ released in 2014. He is best known for his role in Korean dramas like ‘My Liberation Notes’, ‘Matrimonial Chaos’ and ‘Designated Survivor: 60 Days’.

According to Netflix, due to the numerous unresolved issues, the first season of the drama will pick up where it left off. New tragedies and problems will arise in the unit, sending shockwaves beyond and causing the challenging and dramatic investigation that forms the core of season 2's action.

About Korean Drama ‘D.P.’
Season 1 of ‘D.P.’, which is based on the 2015 webtoon ‘D.P. Dog Days’, won over fans and critics alike for its unwavering dive into the harsh realities of South Korean military duty in episodes that alternate between humour, absurdity, and tragedy. At the 58th Baeksang Arts Awards and the Blue Dragon Series Awards in 2022, it earned several honours, including Best TV Drama. ‘D.P.’ was listed as one of the top TV series of 2021 by ‘The New York Times’. Netflix released the first season on August 27, 2021. The second season is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2023.
