Anime fans have been going gaga over the freshly launched trailer of the anime film ‘Look Back’. The movie which was announced back in February 2024, is inspired by a manga of the same name written by Tatsuki Fujimoto who has also written and illustrated ‘Chainsaw Man' and ‘Fire Punch’.

Putting an end to our wait, the filmmakers of the ‘Look Back’ anime movie have finally released a full-length trailer. Through the video, we get a glimpse at the various emotions the movie aims to explore. With heart-touching music and voiceover, the movie is expected to not let us down.
Look Back Release Date
Through the movie’s trailer, the filmmakers also announced that it will be released in Japan on June 28, 2024. The manga (Horror Manga) version of the story was released in 2021 and had won a million hearts. Fans cannot contain their excitement to see what the film adaptation has in store for them.

Look Back Cast And Crew
While not too much has been revealed about the cast and crew, the filmmakers have announced that Yuumi Kawai will be doing the voiceover for Ayumu Fujino, the protagonist, and Mizuki Yoshida for Kyomoto. Further, the movie is being produced by Studio Durian and distributed by Avex Pictures, while Kiyotaka Oshiyama will be directing, designing characters, and writing scripts for the film. Kiyoshi Sameshima will serve as the art director, and Haruka Nakamura will be arranging and composing music.
Look Back Plot
‘Look Back’ anime (Chinese Anime Series) film, which is based on a manga with the same title, is the story of a fourth-year elementary school girl named Ayumu Fujino. She writes and illustrates short mangas for her school newspaper. Soon, she comes across an isolated and introverted girl named Kyomoto who is way better at illustrations and that awakens resentment in the former’s heart for her. However, this bitter relationship transforms into a sweeter one once Ayumu discovers that Kyomoto is a fan of her work.
They grow together choosing varying professional trails but a tragic event forces Ayumu to look back at the days she had with her friend. Gear up for a heart-melting story that will leave you with a thousand emotions.
