Good Bad Ugly Release Date: Adhik Ravichandran-Ajith Kumar's Action Drama To Hit Theaters in April 2025

The much-awaited Tamil film Good Bad Ugly finally got a new release date. Directed and co-written by Adhik Ravichandran and starring Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar, the action drama was previously set to hit theaters on January 10, 2025, on the occasion of Pongal. However, now Good Bad Ugly is slated to entertain the audience on April 10, 2025. Here's more to it.

The much-awaited Tamil film Good Bad Ugly finally got a new release date. Directed and written by Adhik Ravichandran and starring Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar, the action drama was previously set to hit theaters on January 10, 2025, on the occasion of Pongal. However, the makers deferred the release, and now Good Bad Ugly is slated to entertain the audience on April 10, 2025. Taking the film out around that time might prove to be beneficial for the team since the Tamil New Year falls on April 14, 2025.

Good Bad Ugly Release Date Announced With Stylish Poster

Announcing the release date of Good Bad Ugly, the team took to social media on Monday evening and wrote, “Maamey...date locked for VERA LEVEL ENTERTAINMENT. #GoodBadUgly is coming to the BIG SCREENS on 10th April, 2025.”

Along with the announcement post, they attached a poster of Ajith in his usual suave self. Wearing a crisp, white suit and a flashy, vibrant shirt and sporting a salt-and-pepper look, the 53-year-old is seated on a maroon sofa. Wood panelling at the backdrop, a gun in his hand, and his face slightly to the side lend a stylish touch to the poster.

At the time of writing, the post got 1.2K likes, echoing the excitement of his fans, who have been waiting for a long time to get an update on at least one of his movies. That's because, two of his movies - Good Bad Ugly and Vidaamuyarchi - were to premiere in January 2025. However, the makers attached to both the films postponed their release dates, leaving fans miffed.

On December 31, 2024, Vidaamuyarchi makers announced: Due to unavoidable circumstances, our film Vidaamuyarchi will not be releasing on Pongal day. We wish all our fans and well-wishers a prosperous year ahead.

Now while Good Bad Ugly has a release date, Vidaamuyarchi is yet to get one.

Good Bad Ugly: Cast, Crew, Budget, And Other Details

Apart from Ajith Kumar, Good Bad Ugly stars Trisha Krishnan, Prabhu,
Rahul Dev, and Yogi Babu among others. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the force behind the Pushpa tornado, it is the company's first Tamil venture. So, reports said they are not making any compromise to churn out a visual spectacle.

Ravichandran, the director and co-writer of Good Bad Ugly, collaborates with Ajith for the first time. His last film, Mark Antony, did well at the box office, which is why Ajith's fans are pepped up.

As for budget, the movie has reportedly been made on ₹270 crore (US$32 million) with Ajith's reported remuneration being ₹165 crore (US$19 million). If this production cost stands true, we can expect Good Bad Ugly to leave us stunned.
