Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Dunki were engaged in a head-on collision last Christmas. Since they belonged to completely different genres, the two movies did well on their own. Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan, Salaar was also dubbed in other languages and released. Dunki, meanwhile, had Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani in the cast and enlisted Rajkumar Hirani as the director.
