Animal On Netflix: Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol's Film To Release On OTT With These Uncut Scenes

Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol’s ‘Animal’ refuses to slow down at the box office, and continues to make headlines. The Bollywood movie has already earned ₹600 crores worldwide and has surpassed ‘Gadar 2’ collection as well.

According to recent reports, the film is soon going to land on OTT with a few uncut scenes. The news has made fans go gaga over Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s action-thriller.

‘Animal’ On Netflix Release Date

Reportedly, the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer will be released on Netflix in January 2024. The tentative dates of release are between January 14 and 15. After its release in the theatres on December 1, 2023, Netflix has secured rights to stream on the platform in either the second or third week of the first month of 2024.

‘Animal’ Uncut Scenes

Starring Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Mansi Taxak, and Siddhant Karnick, the film will reportedly land on Netflix with a few deleted scenes that the audience did not see in theatres. Therefore, the length of the film on OTT would be around 3 hours 51 minutes.

Ranbir Kapoor And Bobby Deol Kissed In ‘Animal’

Speaking to News 18, Bobby Deol spilled the beans on sharing a kiss with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Animal’. He said, “There was a kiss.” During the narration of the climax scene, Vanga told him that the actors would share a kiss after which Kapoor’s Ranvijay killed Deol’s Abrar Haque.

A few days back, Deol also took to his Instagram to share a BTS image with Kapoor from the sets of ‘Animal’ when they were probably shooting the climax. He shared with News 18 that the actors rehearsed for the scene for at least a week in Mumbai before they headed for the shoot location in London.

The actor added that both of them rehearsed for the scene quite a lot because they wanted to make it appear as real as possible on the screen. In most of the fighting scenes, actors have props that they use during fights, however, the high-octane action scene in ‘Animal’ has nothing in the surroundings except for raw powder.

Ranbir Kapoor And Triptii Dimri’s Intimate Scene In ‘Animal’

According to reports, from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), a few scenes that were deleted from the film include actors being intimate with each other. Vanga’s action movie has also received an ‘Adults Only’ certificate.

Reportedly, a scene had Kapoor and Dimri sharing a kiss and lying in bed after intercourse with each other. Netizens have been guessing that this scene was cut short during edits.

Open Scene Of ‘Animal’ Was Cut Short

Netizens are claiming that the opening scene in ‘Animal’ was also cut short. In the first scene, Ranbir’s character is seen flying a private jet, and it cuts to Anil Kapoor standing right behind him. They feel there might be more to the scene, and we will get to see it on Netflix.
