On October 9, 2023, Sushmita Sen dropped the teaser of ‘Aarya’ season 3, and fans are excited to see the ‘sherni’ roar again. Created by Ram Madhvani, the show explores the life of a homemaker caught in the world of drugs and illegal activities post the demise of her husband. As the secrets are unveiled, she realises that she is living in a bubble crafted by her family.

Left alone to protect her kids, Aarya overcomes several challenges thrown her way. In the second season, she emerges as the queen running the business on her terms. The teaser hinted at the thrilling ride on November 3, 2023, on Disney + Hotstar.

Starring Sen, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal, and Aditya Pancholi, ‘Aankhen’ got the attention of the audience because of its out-of-the-box storyline. It was a critically acclaimed film.

‘Sirf Tum’ is a Hindi film directed by Agathian with Sanjay Kapoor and Priya Gill as the leads, while Sen was in a supporting role. Deepak Rai (Sanjay Kapoor) and Aarti (Priya Gill) connected with each other over letters. And soon they fell in love with each other.

While Deepak was working in Delhi, he met Neha (Sushmita Sen), his boss. She becomes infatuated with him, but his heart aches for Aarti. After knowing the truth, he resigns and becomes a taxi driver. You don’t have to worry because the film has a happy ending, but to see that, you must watch this classic.

The famous ‘Dilbar Dilbar’ song was a part of this film and came to be associated with Sen’s groovy moves until it was recreated with Nora Fatehi.

‘Samay: When Time Strikes’ (2003)

‘Samay’ is a 2003 film in which Sen played ACP Malvika Chauhan. If you loved her in ‘Aarya’, she will again steal your heart in this film. She is assigned a high-profile murder case in which the criminal has not left any shred of evidence behind. ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004)

‘Main Hoon Na’ was a blockbuster hit with puns, drama, action, and romance. A full-fledged movie in which Sen portrays a teacher and redefines our love for her.

Recently in an interview with a media house, Sen shared that Farah Khan called her after the final edits and apologised to her because she was barely in the movie. Although Sen did not express her disappointment, she thought that while she did not shoot much, it took a while for her to adjust to the fact that she was ‘barely’ in the film.

She added that the pre-release posters of the film had Shah Rukh Khan, Amrita Rao, and Zayed Khan, but post-release of the movie, the hoardings featured Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen. She added, “That is the power of the people the audience.”
