"Our vision is to create a future where style, sustainability, and social responsibility coexist," Ankita shares. This philosophy is woven into every aspect of her brand, from the materials they use to the way they market their products.
The Art of Sustainable Luxury
What makes Anjana Bohra stand out is its ability to merge sustainability with luxury. The brand specialises in modern designs crafted from traditional Indian textiles like Bandhani, Banarasi, and Ajrakh. Their innovative ‘Best out of Waste’ initiative transforms leftover fabrics into scrunchies, potlis, and hair accessories, ensuring minimal waste.

"Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for us—it’s a core principle," Ankita emphasises. This commitment has struck a chord with conscious consumers, driving the brand’s impressive 50% year-on-year revenue growth and a solid 15% profit after tax.
Empowering Artisan Communities
One of the most inspiring aspects of Ankita’s work is her dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship. Anjana Bohra collaborates with over 500 artisans from the Rabari, Ahir, and Weaver communities in Kutch and Varanasi.
"By working with skilled artisans from underrepresented communities, we’re not just creating beautiful garments—we’re preserving ancient techniques and providing sustainable livelihoods," she explains. This ethical approach has helped keep traditional crafts alive while empowering hundreds of families.
Embracing Inclusivity
We design for all body types because luxury fashion shouldn’t be limited to sample sizes," Ankita says proudly. The brand’s campaigns feature diverse models, celebrating LGBTQ+ and plus-size communities.
This inclusive ethos extends to their product offerings, with custom and adaptive fits designed to cater to diverse body types. Their commitment to representation has earned them a loyal following of over 150,000 on Instagram and 20,000 on Facebook.
