Kareena Kapoor Khan has so far delivered a number of films in her 18-year-old career which includes blockbusters and critically acclaimed cinema like 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', 'Chameli', 'Aitraz', 'Omkara', 'Jab We Met', '3 Idiots', 'Heroine' and more. The daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, has carved her own niche with several awards to her credit and is among the most popular and highest paid actresses of Bollywood.
Celebrating her 38th birthday, the wife of actor Saif Ali Khan, Kareena's sister Karishma Kapoor and sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan posted snapshots of the birthday bash thrown by the family for Kareena, on their official Instagram accounts. Clad in a simple white t-shirt with blue denims and heels, the actress looks forever stunning with her perfect grace and poise.
While Soha wished her 'Sparkle and Shine!!! Happy Birthday', Karishma took the opportunity to doll out love for her 'best friend' and 'pillar of strength'.
Let's take a look at the movies through which the mother of the most loved blue-eyed baby boy, Taimur, worked in and held the tongues which criticised her and trolled her earlier for her acting skills in her earlier projects.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham
Although she is not the main character in this film but her role of a bubbly, stylish and tad bit snooty girl were raved about by the fashion industry. Her get up in the film was copied by a number of young women and not to forget some of her famous dialogues including 'How dare you! Tumhe Koi Haq Nahi Bnata Ki Tum Itni Khoobsurat Lago'. Heroine
Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Bhandarkar and Sidharth Roy Kapur, 'Heroine' which released in 2012, had Kareena in the lead. The other actors in the film include Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Divya Dutta, Mugdha Godse, Lillete Dubey and Shahana Goswami. The film revolves around the life of a once successful film actress whose career is on the decline. Interestngly, the first look of the movie was releasef as part of the 64th Cannes Film Festival and was very much talked about as it was one of the rare films in India where a woman was in the lead.
The film also faced some issues with the Central Board Of Film Certification, which awarded the film's trailer an 'A' certificate but chopped off Kareena's smoking and love making scenes.
Omkara
A brilliant movie which brought out the best of all its actors inluding Saif, Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, Konkona Sen and Bipasha Basu, Kareena's acting skills were applauded by many. The film is a crime drama adapted from Shakespeare's 'Othello', which has been co-written and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
Ki and Ka
An R. Balki directorial, the film which released in 2016, starred Kareena as the female lead with Arjun Kapoor as the male. The film gained eyeballs due to the different story concept which stressed on a working wife and a 'house-husband', something that challenged the 'macho' ideology of men not just in India but across the globe for that matter. Of course the film wasn't appreciated by the men but on the box office it did very well.
Hope the actress has an amazing birthday and a more successful career in the days to come. Cheers to the birthday girl from Her Zindagi!
