House of Chikankari's Journey From ₹3 Lakh to ₹3 Crore
Aakriti shared that they started the brand with₹3 Lakh during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.The story of House of Chikankari is not just about a successful business; it's also about empowering women and preserving a cultural heritage. The founders workclosely with artisans and a team of around 1000 women.
As House of Chikankari continues to grow and evolve, it remains committed to its core values of sustainability, craftsmanship, and female empowerment. Aakriti also mentioned, "My mother says that if I won't wear something because of its bad quality, I won't give (sell) it to any customer either... Taking customers' feedback seriously and personally helped build the foundation of our brand."
