Aastha discussed her journey of being diagnosed with vitiligo, battling it since childhood and her journey until now saying, "My journey with Vitiligo began at the age of 8, when I noticed patches on my skin. Initially, it was a tough road, battling insecurities and feeling different. Over time, I learned to embrace my uniqueness and stopped my medication at 14. Now, as a fashion and lifestyle beauty content creator, I strive to inspire others to love themselves unapologetically and redefine beauty norms."

Astha gave us a sneak peek into her journey of battling vitiligo and finding her strength being subjected to a condition, such as it causes societal alienation and trauma. She shared her experience saying, “After years of treatment, there was a day I went up to my dad and told him I was to stop all the treatments and live life to the fullest. I realised my skin doesn’t define me and there’s so much more to achieve in life. That’s the day my confidence shot up and I remember doing everything I wasn’t able to.”
