She does not wear as many sarees at events as other celebs do but when she does, she truly rocks them be it a Sabyasachi red in semi chiffon, a Chanderi silk or a simple white cotton handloom. Anushka Sharma wore this simple cotton saree in white during one of the promotional events of her film "Sui Dhaga" which also starred Varun Dhawan. She generally takes the glamourous route for events but this time she experimented with a simple number but the element of surprise was her contrasting checkered blouse in indigo and white. She went easy on the accessories bit by wearing just a long pair of earrings and a small round red bindi to complete the look. Sabyasachi Red

She wore this saree for karva chauth and looked really beautiful in this semi-chiffon drape with shimmer work and bold floral print. For jewellery, she wore chunky chaand baalis, her mangalsutra, and red chuda. If your saree has a lot of bling then go easy on the accessories to avoid looking like a Christmas tree.

Green Chanderi Silk

This one is a really beautiful handloom but the catch to wearing a Chanderi is that it adds a little fluffiness to your existing weight. But if you do not care and can carry it off with confidence then you will look smashing in this festive wear saree. With a lot of golden weaving all over, go easy on the jewellery and makeup. Keep it simple and add a just a simple accent with small jhumkis or even studs. Do not wear a contrasting blouse as the saree is the hero here. The rest is all supporting.

Transparent Glittery Pistachio Green

This is a chiffon saree in pistachio green hue with a lot of glitter work all over. The golden border adds more glamour to it and the huge earring with small bindi completes the look.
