Bollywood’s millennial diva, Sara Ali Khan made the internet buzz like never before as she re-wore her royal blue and gold ‘anarkali’ suit from the shelves of couturiers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, which she had previously worn for Diwali 2022. The ‘Gaslight’ actor repeated the outfit as she dolled up for one of her friend’s reception parties.

Sara Ali Khan's rather large collection of traditional Indian wear has always been the talking point of B-town desi fashion servings. But this time Sara made heads turn as she proved herself to be not just a fashionista from the gullies of Bollywood, but an environmentally conscious one at that. The ‘Kedarnath’ actor made a case for the fact that her sartorial sensibilities are etched in sustainability concerns.

Sara had given us a wardrobe full of festive season outfit inspiration earlier this year. But she hasn’t stopped at that, and is now serving us DIY styling ideas and sustainable fashion goals in all its perfection. The actor re-wore her royal blue anarkali set with gold ‘gota -patti’ work detailing and a keyhole neckline that she had sourced from ace designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

The gorgeous anarkali that is a masterpiece in itself has a royal blue colour and has the best contrast with gold ‘gota-patti’ work throughout the voluminous fall of the anarkali. This is not the first time Sara has worn this anarkali, but one can vouch for her to retain its OG charm and elegance as she wore it for the second time.

The anarkali garment has a fuss-free silhouette and a keyhole neckline that added an extra edge to her ensemble. The matching net dupatta drape and the ‘kaan-phool’ style traditional gold earrings added to the desi girl vibe the actor was going for. Sara brought together the right combination of colour, texture, accessories, hair and makeup to present a win-win ethnic look.
