The Lord incarnate of the sartorial universe Sabyasachi Mukherjee has launched his festive and bridal 2023 line gives a major 90s Bollywood era vibe. A standout statement piece in the collection literally looks like Kareena Kapoor Khan’s outfit from the song 'You Are My Soniya' from Karan Johar’s multistarrer family drama, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ that had Kapoor Khan play the iconic ‘Poo’.

Our dear Sabya’s latest gift to the sartorial universe is the festive/wedding edit for the season 2023. Two ensembles from the line remind us of the 90s leading lady in Bollywood movies dressed in ‘sanskari suits’ but with an edge of noodle strap kurti and see through organza, chiffon and net dupattas. All this was crowned with the glittery sequin that added the glam quotient to the look.
