It's not very often that we get to see reality on the ramp but Rina Dhaka did floor us all at the Lakme Fashion Week 2019. I am not saying that this has never happened as it has been happening for the past three years as well but then we don't have enough of them so this time as well I thought this one deserves a stand-alone coverage! The ace fashion designer in collaboration withplus sized clothing brand aLL brought plus size women on the ramp on with the all-inclusive plus-size collection with Delnaaz Irani as the showstopper!
The women on the heavier side of the scale looked gorgeous every bit and had won hearts with that confidence with which I hope all women walk every day no matter where. Delnaaz who wore a dress with tribal prints and tassels with uber confidence and spunk and wasjoined by model Vahbiz Dorabjee.
Rina shared a video from the last day of Lakme Fashion Week 2019 on her Instagram account.

Special thanks to Jaspreet, Nikhita, Lisette, Vahbiz, Santana, Rupsa, Rajiv, MJahesh, JD institute, Rupa Dalal...All has been a great opportunity for me to start in a new exciting genre. It has a great support base and has helped me create and bring my vision live on the catwalk. The idea of a real person who participates in fashion resonates well with all and me. There is no reason why plus sizes cannot have their own fashion forecasts. All and I, we are in a plus-size moment.
It was such a fabulous show by @allplussize X @rinadhaka! 💯 @officialdelnaazirani and @vahbz just amped up the ramp glam at @lakmefashionwk - @rashmi_bhosale 💗 #MMAtLFWWF19 #5DaysOfFashion #LFWWF19 #LakmeFashionWeek #AllPrimero #aLLPlusSize #RinaDhaka.

From sleeveless to ruffles, to flowing dresses to asymmetrical hemlines, this collection by Dhaka has set an example that we plus size women need to stop steering away and running away from experimenting with our looks. Anything looks good as long as you have the confidence. Yes, bodycon and body-hugging material would not look nice but the idea here is that we accentuate what we find is out best feature. Patel colours look amazing on us and so do bright shades of yellow.
