LA Fashion Closet 2026: With the start of this new year, Delhi was turned into the runway by the renowned fashion production brand ‘LA Fashion Closet’ by Shagun. It kick-started 2026 by hosting its first show of the year in the heart of India, Delhi. From Indian to International designers, the event was graced by avant-garde ensembles one after the other. The event was divided into four slots and featured collections by both seasoned and upcoming designers. Let’s dive in to find out more about the glamorous fashion shows at the ‘LA Fashion Closet 2026’.
The event that kick-started the year for fashion lovers in Delhi was the ‘LA Fashion Closet 2026’. They set up the runway for their show at the regal Bikaner House in Delhi. The runway unwrapped on January 3, 2026, and all fashionistas of Delhi had pulled up to experience the latest collections from designers. This event began at 12 and continued till 8. It concluded with the showstopper collection from ‘Label Dimple Kapoor’.
The theme for this fashion show was kept as ‘Fashion Beyond Borders’. When we asked Shagun Gupta, the founder and CEO of LA Fashion Closet, about the story behind this theme, she said, “We are actually beyond borders in the sense that not just geographical borders, but mental borders.” Shagun continued saying that she wants people to be accepting of each other, regardless of their body shape, skin colour, or any disability. She went on to say that they have worked with sustainable brands and plus-size brands to promote their vision of ‘fashion beyond borders’.

The entire event was divided into four different slots, with each designer having their own time to shine in the spotlight. We got to see beautiful collections from the students of colleges under the Indian Institute of Fashion Technology University. The next slot showcased stunning pieces made by students from the AAFT School of Fashion and Design. This fashion show was also graced by the Founder President of AAFT, Dr Sandeep Marwah.
We also got to see a collection from Ukrainian designer Anna Rud under her label, 'Anna Soul'. It was an adorable collection designed specially for kids to feel like royalty!

From the third slot onwards, we got to see the latest collections of international designers, such as Label Garry & Rare Penguin, PC The Label, Arshvin Arora, Septimius Couture, and Davina -Shabana Couture. We also got to see a melodious performance by an artist, Sage Sam.
With the fourth slot, we finally got to see the most-awaited collection from ‘Label Dimple Kapoor’. Dimple’s collection was a true ode to Indian fashion and craftsmanship. With brocade work and silk, her collection was ethereal.
