Well, the winters call for a lot of layering because we need all that warmth before stepping out of the door during the chilly season but what about style?

It isn't really worth investing in all those jackets if you don't pull them out and curate your winter look using them. There are some jackets which have been in trend for the longest time and we all have them in our winter closets.

We spoke to Japnah Gambhir, Founder & Designer of Majestic by Japnahand asked her to share some quick tips and tricks to make trendy jackets a part of our winter look. Read on.

Teddy Coats

What is not to love about fluffy all-over coats this season? These have fluffy textures and are ideal for cuddling or staying warm on the go. And did we mention they go with everything? Be it a maxi, a co-ord set, casual jeans or a midi, oversized teddy coats look super stylish. Keep your accessories minimal with these coats. For footwear, opt for regular sneakers or boots.

If you don't have one, you must invest in a teddy coat. It will take you through the cold months in style.

Embellished Jackets

We all have atleast one embellished jacket in our winter wardrobe. These embellished jackets are statement pieces but we often don't know how to style these. The expert shared that an embroidered jacket may appear difficult to wear at times, but keeping it simple and layering it with just one can help you get just the perfect look.

Embellished jackets should be teamed with a minimal outfit. It is best to carry an embellished jacket with a single tone outfit if you want it to stand out. The safest bet is to carry it with a plain black blouse and trousers. Round off with a pair of heels or sneakers as per your comfort.

Oversized Puffer Jackets

Oversized puffers add a sporty, streetwear vibe to any look, but the best part is how warm these jackets are. These puffers are anything but ordinary, thanks to their eye-catching forms, colours, and designs. You can style them in so many different ways.

For a chic, romantic look, team the puffer jacket with a body hugging midi or a knit co-ord set. For footwear, pick a pair of knee high boots.

For a regular, everyday look, balance your look with a blouse, tight pants or leggings. Round off with a pair of sneakers or boots.

Leather Jackets And Coats

Leather coats have been in trend for the longest time now but they keep getting a makeover every now and then. You get these coats in a variety of colours and sizes. Pull out the version of leather coat you have in your closet and you can really carry it with any ensemble. It instantly adds a polished touch to your look.
