GenZ has embraced the blend of tradition and innovation in fashion. Every year they come up with a new fashion trend that makes headlines. From incorporating ethnic features into their daily style to playing with colours, GenZ’s fashion choices are all about self-expression, diversity, and sustainability. Mr Jigar Patel, Owner of G3+ Fashion, Surat, Gujarat shared about the fashion trends that GenZ will embrace in 2025.
5 GenZ Fashion Trends In 2025
Here are the five fashion trends that GenZ will embrace in 2025:
Handloom Fabrics
2025 will witness the comeback of handloom materials as sustainability becomes a core value of GenZ. Jigar highlighted that bright colours and simple forms are being used to reinterpret ikat, linen, and khadi. These fabrics, which are often linked to tradition, are currently being used to create fashionable jumpsuits, oversized coats, and co-ord sets.
Fusion Sarees
Gen Z's enthusiasm for trying new things has added a different edge to saree styling. Jigar mentioned that the ethnic fashion landscape is dominated by fusion sarees, which have ruffles, pre-stitched drapes, and unusual materials like denim and sequins.GenZ will be spotted pairing sarees with crop tops, corset blouses, or even bomber jackets for a contemporary look.
Vibrant Graphics And Maximalist Designs
According to Jigar, unapologetic prints will be in style in 2025, with geometric patterns, paisleys, and flowers taking centre stage. To create outfits that are as colourful as their personalities, Gen Z is particularly drawn to clashing designs and opposing hues.

Statement Pieces And Accessories
Accessories are Gen Z's preferred tool for enhancing an ensemble. According to Jigar, stackable bangles, stacked necklaces, elaborate nose pins, and chunky oxidised jewellery are all hot right now. Ethnic costumes are becoming more individualized with the addition of embroidered belts, potli bags with contemporary designs, and handcrafted juttis.
