Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Eligibility Criteria

How To Apply For India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Recruitment 2025
The application process for the GDS recruitment is entirely online. Candidates can follow these simple steps to apply:
i) Go to the official India Post GDS recruitment portal at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
ii) Click on the ‘Register’ tab and fill in your details such as your name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
iii) After registration, log in using your credentials and fill out the personal, educational, and contact information required.
iv) You will need to upload scanned copies of your photo, signature, and educational certificates.
v) The application fee is Rs 100. However, female candidates, SC/ST candidates, persons with disabilities (PwD), and transwomen are exempted from paying the fee.

Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS): Application Fee And Merit List
The application fee is Rs 100. However, there are exemptions for certain categories. Female candidates, SC/ST candidates, persons with disabilities (PwD), and transwomen do not have to pay this fee.
Once the application process is completed, the results will be declared in the form of a merit list. It’s expected that 7 to 8 merit lists will be prepared, and these will be uploaded on the official India Post website.
