The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is set to release the much-awaited results for the Class 12 (Intermediate) exams today at 1:15 pm. Students who appeared for the exams can check their results online through the official websites, interresult2025.com and interbiharboard.com.

This year, the board has introduced significant changes in the rewards and recognition system for the top-performing students. The Bihar government has doubled the cash prizes for the toppers, aiming to further motivate students to perform their best.

BSEB Inter Result 2025: Cash Prizes and Awards

As announced in the official press release, the Bihar government has decided to double the cash rewards for top students this year. The top five rank holders in the BSEB Class 12 exams will receive the following prizes:

  • First Rank: Students securing the first position in the 2025 exams will be awarded Rs 2 lakh, up from the previous prize of Rs 1 lakh.
  • Second Rank: The second-place student will receive Rs 1.5 lakh, a significant increase from the earlier Rs 75,000.
  • Third Rank: Students placing third will get Rs 1 lakh, up from Rs 50,000.
  • Fourth to Tenth Rank: Those securing the fourth and fifth positions will receive Rs 30,000 instead of the previous Rs 15,000.

BSEB Inter Result 2025: Scholarships for High Achievers

In a bid to encourage academic excellence, BSEB has also revamped its scholarship scheme under the Deshratna Dr Rajendra Prasad Medha Scholarship. This initiative provides additional financial support to top-performing students.

Top 5 Rankers: The top 5 rankers will now receive Rs 2,500 per month, up from Rs 1,500. The scholarship amount will be given for a duration that depends on the course chosen by the students after their Class 12 exams.

BSEB Inter Result 2024 Rewards

For comparison, in 2024, the Bihar Board rewarded the top-performing students across all streams with significant prizes. The first-rank holders received Rs 1 lakh, a Kindle, and a laptop. Second-rank holders received Rs 75,000, a Kindle, and a laptop, while third-rank holders got Rs 50,000, a Kindle, and a laptop. Students who secured the fourth and fifth positions were given Rs 15,000 along with a laptop.

The Education Minister says, "We want Bihar's students to dream bigger. These rewards will help our toppers continue their studies without money problems."

Students can easily access their results by visiting the official BSEB websites. To view the results, they need to enter their roll number and other relevant details. Along with the results, BSEB will also release a list of the top 10 students in each stream, Science, Commerce, and Arts.
