To clean it, just give beetroots a good scrub and wash in the water.

However, if you peel off the upper layer you will keep yourself from receiving the most fibrous and nutritious element of this vegetable. Wash it well and lightly scrape it using a spoon before consuming it.

Antioxidants, an enzyme vital to fight many diseases are found immensely in cucumber peels. So, if you want to reap cucumber's most nutrients, it’s best to wash it well and eat with the skin on.

Keep it soaked in water for 15-minutes and then just wash nicely with hands.
