Beaches often exude an image of a never-ending stretch of sand with serene blue waters incessantly washing the shores. Beaches are an obvious holiday destination for many, but due to the population and pollution, a number of these scene locales have landed up compromising on their characteristic beauty. However, given the fact the Indian has a vast coastline, there are a number of beaches one can explore. And yes, there are a few which remain untouched and not frequented by travelers. Ezhimala Beach, Kerala

Befitting the quintessential description of a beach with its serene blue waters and palm-lined stretch, Ezhimala is a travelers heaven. It is 55 kms away from Kannur and has stone like pillar scattered all over. Besides its scenic views, the beach also holds a strong cultural reverence among the culture vultures. It is believed that Lord Buddha stopped at this beach while he was traveling across India. Next to the beach is a small hillock which stands tall at 286 ft, and invites a number of nature lovers to explore a variety of herbs that grow there.

Marari Beach, Kerela

One of the most famous in Kerela, It is a great add-on to any travelers list. Nestled behind a thicket of coconut trees and defined by its clear blue waters, Marari is also known for its water sports. Given the fact that the beach is punctuated with inexplicable scenic views, there are a number of resorts near it too.

Bangaram Beach, Lakshadweep Islands

Lakshadweep, the name in itself stands for inexplicable peace and topography which has lured travels for a number of years. Though the islands are a go-to destination for anyone and everyone who want to unwind on a beach, Bangaram, in particular, is of interest for many. It might not be as popular as Agatti, but it is known for its wide range of birds and wildlife species. And just in case you have an adventurer in you and want to explore scuba diving and snorkeling, the charming lagoon and exquisite coral reef are just nearby.

Characterised by powerful waves, long stretch of sands and fisherman boats.  This beach is lined up with thickets of palm trees and it’s calm blue waters often invite a number of swimming and surfing enthusiasts. of high flavanol content regulates your skin’s hydration and keeps it healthy and lustrous. However, just a word of caution, since chocolate is also packed with calories, consuming it in moderation is important.
