Obviously, water alone is the best option, but what’s the fun in that? Bring lemon into the picture and refresh your day with some easy-to-make mocktails.

3 Lemon-based Summer Drinks

It's one of the most popular lemon-based refreshing drinks that you can sip all summer long. 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lemon, cut into 3/4 wedges
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 or 3 sprigs of mint leaves
  • 2/3 cup Ice cubes
  • Club soda

Method: Fill half your jar with club soda and add ice cubes as per your preference. Now add some crushed mint leaves to the soda and wait for its flavour to infuse into the soda. Take a bowl, squeeze some lemon juice, add sugar, and salt in it and mix them all together. Once the sugar is dissolved, pour this mix into the soda-ice solution. Garnish your drink with small lemon wedges and mint leaves.

This local drink rich in vitamin C can do wonders for your digestion, which is much needed in summer. 

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 lemon
  • 2/3 cups water
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • Mint leaves
  • 3/4 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Ice cubes

Method: Take a bowl and mix sugar in a quarter cup of water. Mix until the sugar dissolves. Now take a jug and add water, including sugar water, roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, black salt, and salt. Mix well and strain the lemonade into another jug. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices. Add ice cubes and serve.

Lemon Ginger Mocktail

Lemon Ginger Mocktail

This non-sweet and spicy mocktail makes a filling and delicious summer beverage

Ingredients: 

  • 2/3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons ginger juice
  • Ginger slices
  • Ice cubes

Method: Add lemon and ginger juice in water and mix it well. Add a few ice cubes to the glass, top with soda and garnish with ginger slices.
