The temple is built in honour of Kannaki, an incarnation of Parvati who is revered as the Supreme Mother and the creator of all life on Earth. Every year in February or March, this temple is known for its Attukal Pongala Festival. 4. Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple

Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and was built in the 17th century. People visit this location to worship Unni Krishna (the child form of Lord Krishna). There is Palpayasam served here as an offering, which is delicious by the way and is associated with the temple. The deity that was brought from Guruvayoor during Tipu Sultan's rule to protect it from the raid that was happening at the time is another reason for the temple's fame. 5. Udiyanoor Devi Temple

Udiyanoor Devi's shrine features four hands holding weapons in a Shiva and Vaishnava-joined gesture.
