According to the Meteorological Department (MeT), Kashmir is expected to receive its first snowfall of winter 2023 on October 9. It would make a stunning destination to visit around Dussehra.
I visited Kashmir in the summer, and it was a beauty to behold. The natives suggest visiting it in winter when snow turns the green meadows, mountains, and wildflowers into a white landscape. Gulmarg Gondola, Dal Lake, Doodhpathri, and Sonmarg are among the must-visit places here.
