Social media influencer Lakshay Jaggi recently received an award for his work as a prominent fitness personality. On receiving the award from Rakul Preet Singh, he deliberately ignored her walking off the stage. To this, Lakshay explains in Hindi, "So you were asking about that Rakul Preet incident on why I ignored her at the show? What exactly happened? So the thing was that, while I was on the stage, there was an aunty-tye lady in front of me who passed by. She was also getting a nice award, and as soon as she received it, she extended her hand, to which Rakul didn't shake hands with her."

He further added that, "To that incident, when I went up, without any intention of insulting anyone, I went on stage, took the award from her. He said, "If there's no custom of shaking hands, then take the award and move ahead. That's what I felt at that time. How would I know that the other person would feel insulted?"
