Telugu Actor Chandrakanth Commits Suicide After Co-Star Pavithra Jayaram Died In Car Accident

The Kannada TV actor Pavithra Jayaram lost her life during a tragic car accident on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Jayaram met with a harsh collision with a divider after the driver lost control of the steering wheel followed by a severe bus crash, and lost her life on the spot, as reported by IANS. The Telugu actor Chandrakanth who worked with Pavithra in 'Trinayani' was recently found dead at his residence in Alkapur, Telangana, on Friday, May 17.

According to the reports, the actor was found hanging at his residence in Alkapur. He and his close friend Pavithra Jayaram used to live together at this same residence, as per reports. Apart from this, they were both a part of the accident in which Jayaram lost her life.

Also, in a media interaction, Chandrakanth’s father reportedly said that the actor was deeply shaken by the sudden death of his close friend Pavithra Jayaram and seemed to be in depression since her demise.

After Jayaram’s death due to the tragic accident, Chandrakanth shared their last picture together on Instagram with the caption, “Papa netho digina last pic raa 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 not able to digest to left me alone, okasari mama aniii piluveee plsss @pavithrajayaram_chandar… My Pavi is no more 🥲🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 pls ra come back plsss.”

Apart from his Instagram being filled with photos and videos of him and Pavithra, showcasing their bond, he shared several posts after she passed away to express his grief. He also shared a heartfelt note for Pavitra in his last post. “Naannnaa ……🥲🥲 pls hey wait for just 2days ra…” the caption read.

While there was no official confirmation yet, they both were rumoured to be in a romantic relationship. However, despite this looking like a suicide due to the loss of his close friend, the police are currently investigating the case.
