MI 2 opens with Cruise solo climbing Dead Horse Point in Utah—5900 feet high with safety ropes! One slip off the crumbled rocks and it would have been a stairway to heaven. What comes out is Ethan Hunt defying gravity, death and his age. Well, he was 53 while shooting this!
