As per the Y + security cover given to Shah Rukh Khan, he will be accompanied by six armed security guards round the clock. Prior to this the actor had two security personnel being with him 24x7.
As per the police, the ‘Jawan’ actor recently wrote to the Maharashtra government letting them know that he had been receiving death threats post delivering two back to back superhit blockbusters at the box office. Hence, the Maharashtra government has decided to increase his security cover up a notch for the most beloved actor.

‘Wanted’ actor Salman Khan was earlier provided Y+ security last year. This was granted to him following threats to his life received from the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang.

As per the Maharashtra Government and their policies, the Y+ security is provided to citizens who face a threat to their life. In such cases the citizens have to pay a fee or deposit a security amount to receive that protection, Hence, SRK’s Y+ security is self funded by him.

The ‘My Name Is Khan’ actor was quoted saying, “Goli marni hai mar do, par tumhaare liye kaam nahin karoonga. Main Pathan hoon” which literally means in Hindi that shoot me if you want to, but I won't work for you, I am a Pathan. Director Sanjay Gupta took to X to post that, “ He's the same today.”
