2. Ranbir Is A Complete Mamma’s Boy

Ranbir Kapoor openly acknowledges being very close to his mother, Neetu Singh. He has no problem admitting that he has his mother's number on the speed dial. He enjoys homemade food cooked by her, especially his favourites like bhindi, junglee mutton, and paya. He even relies on her to create his diet plan. Surprisingly, as per the reports, he still receives Rs. 1,500 from her every week as pocket money, and it's rumoured that he used to depend on her to trim his nails until he moved out of their family home.

3. Ranbir Kapoor Is A Musician And A Dancer

Ranbir Kapoor has received extensive training in Jazz and Ballet. He's also taken classes in diction, dance, and horse riding. Additionally, he had a strong musical inclination from a young age, having learnt to play the tabla and drums as a child. In preparation for his role as Jordan in Imtiaz Ali's 'Rockstar' (2011), he even took guitar lessons. He became so enamoured with the guitar that he carried it with him everywhere and could often be seen playing it throughout the day.

For those unversed, Ranbir Kapoor's journey in the film industry traces back to 1996, when he started as an assistant director on the movie 'Prem Granth,' directed by Rajiv Kapoor. Furthermore, he lent his assistance to his late father, Rishi Kapoor, on his directorial debut, 'Aa Ab Laut Chalen,' in 1999. While Ranbir's acting career began with 'Saawariya' in 2007, his early experiences as an assistant director paved the way for his eventual success in the industry.
