Barfi star Ranbir Kapoor recently appeared on Nikhil Kamanth’s podcast where he was surprisingly candid. Kapoor spoke his heart out during the conversation, revealing his childhood traumas as well. Many might not know but Ranbir’s relationship with his father, Rishi Kapoor wasn’t at its best. In the podcast, he revealed that his father’s temper was volatile and he was often scared to even meet his eyes. He also shared that, back in the day, his parents would argue a lot and he spent his childhood scared on the staircase hearing them fight. “My mother was expressive but my father wasn’t. It could be because that generation of men weren’t trained to be vulnerable,” he said.

Diljit Dosanjh

Earlier this year, Punjabi singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh appeared on Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beerbiceps podcast show where he talked about his childhood separation from his family. “I shifted from my home when I was 11. I moved to my uncle’s house in Ludhiana from my village. My uncle had told my father, ‘Send him to the city with me.’ My parents agreed and said, ‘Take him with you.’ Nobody asked me if I wanted to go or not,” he recounted.

Eventually, Diljit lost his connection with his family. "So, at the age of 11, my connection with my family broke." He added that he respects his mom a lot and called his father "adorable". Talking about his father Diljit Dosanjh said, "He hasn't ever said anything to me. He just said, 'You will get a house to live in and food to eat. Rest, it is your life."

Kangana Ranaut

Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut once recounted a sexual harassment incident she experienced during her childhood.
