Lee Min-ho loved playing soccer and wanted to play soccer professionally. However, he was forced to give up on his dreams because of an accident that happened in school. In an interview with DramaFever he said that if he weren’t an actor, he’d probably become a pro gamer or end up working for a game company.

2. Lee Min-ho Went To All Boys School

Yes, you read it right, the actor went to an all-boys school where he found his passion for acting. Later he joined his long-time agency Starhaus Entertainment.

3. Lee Min-ho Has Survived Two Big Car Accidents

In 2006, Lee Min-ho and Jung Il-woo were able to survive a deadly car accident. There were four people in the car and only these two were able to survive. The actor spent a month in a coma. (Korean Dramas Of Lee Min-ho)

The second accident happened on the set of ‘City Hunter’ in 2011. The front part of the car he was in was destroyed when it collided with a truck. It was also reported that the actor didn’t suffer any serious injuries.

The king of rom-com in South Korean entertainment says that he finds it uncomfortable to deliver cheesy dialogue in romantic comedy dramas. He prefers manlier roles, like the one in his movie ‘Gangnam Blues’ which was released in 2015.
