After the release of the highly anticipated film ‘The Archies,’ rumours have been swirling about a potential romance between co-stars Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina. The duo's undeniable on-screen chemistry and their recent appearances together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding bash have only fuelled speculation among fans. While the two remain tight-lipped about their relationship status, their insights into the intricacies of first dates offer a glimpse into the modern dating landscape.
Khushi Kapoor And Vedang Raina Dating?
In a recent collaboration with Bumble, the women-first dating app, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina delved into the topic of "Opening Moves," a new feature that allows women to set a question for their matches to respond to, fostering engaging conversations from the get-go.
Through a video, the duo bonded over questions like "Most iconic first date idea?" and "What's your guilty pleasure?", unveiling personal anecdotes and showcasing their vibrant chemistry.
Addressing the importance of this partnership, Khushi Kapoor shared, "Being a part of this collaboration is really exciting for me. It represents a crucial shift in contemporary dating dynamics, empowering women to take charge of their own romantic journeys."
Vedang Raina added, "Making the first move is not always easy, and I love that Bumble has continuously chosen to stay true to their women-first philosophy by updating how women can continue to initiate conversations on their own terms with the introduction of Opening Moves!"
Khushi Kapoor And Vedang Raina Reveal Five First-Date Red Flags
- Phone Phantoms: Constantly checking your phone is rude, unless it's for family (like your parents texting you). Kapoor would directly tell you it bothers her, "I would express how it makes me feel without giving them a hard time about it." Raina might understand if it's family, saying, "I'd be understanding if they are texting their mom because I can relate to my parents constantly messaging me about my whereabouts."
- Silent Treatment: Not asking questions shows disinterest. Raina suggests asking questions that make them want to ask you things back, "What if they're just shy and find it hard to open up on the first date?"
- Server Smackdown: Being rude to the waiter is a big turn-off for both. It shows a lack of respect for others. Raina is clear, "If you're rude to a server on the first date, it says a lot about how you are as a person." Kapoor agrees, "You have to acknowledge that they are being disrespectful and make them aware that it's not right to treat anybody like that." While she wouldn't necessarily leave, it might affect a second date.
- Food Fight: They agree on letting your date order for you. Raina wouldn't mind, "I'd be relieved at having the decision taken out of my hands as I always dither over making the call." Kapoor likes to plan ahead, "But I don't think it's a bad thing for your date to order for you if they know what you want. It can be sweet sometimes if they remember that you like something and want to order it for you."
- Ex-es Files: Bringing up your ex is okay sometimes. Vedang Raina says it's a red flag if it's constant, "It all depends on the context," but "if they are still on your mind and they are obviously not over it" then it's a bad sign. Kapoor agrees, "If you are constantly mentioning random stories about your ex, then it probably signifies that you are not over them," but it's okay to mention them in context, "If you are mentioning events in your life that have happened with an ex, then it is good to have transparency with your date." Basically, don't dwell on your past relationship.
