Dipika Kakar Diagnosed With Liver Tumour: Television actress Dipika Kakar, best known for her roles in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and for winning ‘Bigg Boss 12’, has been diagnosed with a tumour in her liver, as revealed by her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim in a recent vlog. This health update comes shortly after Dipika Kakar made her television comeback with ‘Celebrity MasterChef India’, marking her return to TV after a five-year break.

Dipika Kakar Diagnosed with Liver Tumour

Dipika Kakar had to voluntarily exit Celebrity MasterChef India Season 1 due to health issues. In his latest vlog, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a detailed account of her condition, initially believed to be a minor stomach problem.

Shoaib Ibrahim shared in his new vlog, “Dipika is not well, I think there is a stomach issue. When I was in Chandigarh, Dipika started having pain in her stomach, and initially, we thought it was due to acidity. But when the pain did not decrease, she consulted our family doctor, who also treated our father. He gave some antibiotics and asked her to get blood tests done. Then she was on antibiotics till May 5, and when I returned, she was doing fine. Then, after papa’s birthday, she once again started experiencing pain and meanwhile the blood test reports came, which indicated that she had infection in her body.”

Dipika Kakar Health Update 

According to Shoaib Ibrahim, it all began when an old injury of Dipika resurfaced, causing her a lot of physical discomfort and pain. Following the concerning blood reports, Dipika was immediately hospitalised for further testing. Doctors carried out scans and other investigations to determine if the tumour is cancerous. 

Shoaib Ibrahim also said, “Our doctor asked us to visit again and when we met him he asked us to do a CT scan and it showed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is bigger in size, like a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us.”
