Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Both their on-screen and off-screen chemistries entice their fans. Their love story has been a unique one as they met when Deepika was going through her toughest phase. However, despite that, Ranveer Singh always stood by her.

There have been thousands of rumours over the years of the couple getting divorced. Recently, there have also been rumours about Deepika Padukone getting pregnant. After she was seen with a covered belly at the 77th BAFTAs, her fans started suspecting that she may be expecting. 

Amid a hundred rumours of the couple's pregnancy, it has been announced by them on their Instagram today, February 29, 2024, that they are indeed expecting. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shared a collaborative post on their social media with a picture that says “September, 2024.” The photo is further decorated with baby clothes, rattles, and shoes, and the caption says, “🙏🏽🧿🙏🏽.”

Times When Deepika-Ranveer Talked About Having Kids 

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot on November 14, 2018. Before their marriage, they never even openly spoke about their relationship. However, ever since their wedding in 2018, they have been quiet about their relationship. They even shared how they started dating on ‘Koffee With Karan 8’. 

Over the years on multiple occasions, the couple has also expressed their desire for a family and having children. Here are a few times that we can remember. 

• In an interview with Vogue, she mentioned, “Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.” Further, she mentioned about inculcating good values in their kids.
• In 2013, Deepika mentioned at a roundtable interview that she wished to have three kids in the coming ten years of her life.
• In 2021, during an interview, Ranveer Singh talked about how he wanted to have a daughter in the upcoming 2-3 years and had started deciding on names as well. 
• In a 2018 interview, Deepika talked about having kids when she felt the time was right, simultaneously expressing her desire to start a family one day.
