BTS member Jin carried the Olympic flame in Paris, near the Louvre Museum on July 14, 2024. This honour came shortly after he completed his mandatory military service in South Korea. The Paris 2024 Olympics is set to be a grand celebration of sports, culture, and global unity. One of the most anticipated events leading up to the games is the Olympic torch relay. BTS Jin participated in the torch relay for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, representing the Republic of Korea. He carried the torch at the iconic Louvre Museum. Jin departed from Seoul to Paris on July 11. The Olympic flame, initially ignited in Olympia, Greece, on April 16, 2024, is set to arrive in Paris on July 26 for the grand opening of the Olympics. The relay will feature around 10,000 torchbearers, including Jin, travelling through 400 cities in France and some international locations.
